In 2009, the property of ‘Castle de Planchevienne’ was bought by the Belgian couple Jeroen and Marian Dewulf-Lein. Since then and through different phases, they began an extensive renovation work to create the gem that the property currently is. The property is run by them, together with the manageress who resides on site and their loyal staff.
In a final stage, starting in 2018, the 17th century farmhouse, located on the estate, was undergoing a thorough renovation. In 2018, the ground floor of the main building, which is for private-use, has been renovated, together with ‘Le Studio de Michel’, named after the beloved former guardian of the property.
In 2019, the 3 rooms on the ground floor of the main building were refurbished. In 2019, in the side wing, ‘L’Orangerie de la Ferme’ was built: this is a particularly atmospheric kitchen/dining and meeting room, which opens onto the inner garden of ‘La Ferme’. Breakfast for the B&B Chambres d’Hôtes of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’ are served in the orangery. The orangery can also be rented privately together with ‘Les Cottages de Planchevienne’. It is also possible to rent this orangery exclusively for a private occasion such as a communion, a birthday, a private or business lunch/dinner, etc. (up to 18 people).
Finally, in the year 2021, the side wing was transformed into 2 unique holiday cottages: ‘Les Cottages de Planchevienne’; each with a capacity of 4 people; the current connecting door between the two cottages allows to increase the capacity to 8 people.
Also the inner garden, with its heated 12 x 4 m swimming pool, was fully finished in the spring of 2021.
‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’ is now a picturesque, little paradise in its own right, integrated in the larger green property of Château de Planchevienne.
The Inner Garden
The inner garden of “La Ferme de Planchevienne” is a real gem, the result of the creative green mind of the owner (who is a garden architect). The garden is carefully maintained. The numerous parterres of hydrangea and boxwood blend together and give the area a special cachet.
In the centre of the courtyard garden is the exquisite 12-metre heated swimming pool with wooden deck chairs with soft cushions on the adjacent terrace, to the delight of our guests.
In the seating area with fire bowl, guests can enjoy a nice get-together around the fire or a heart-warming barbecue with family or friends.
In the warmer months, breakfast is served on the terraces of the ‘L’Orangerie de la Ferme’, with a lovely view on the garden and swimming pool.

- is situated at less than 2 hours by car from the city of Paris.
- offers, thanks to its central location in France and its location near the A77 highway, the ideal stopover halfway to the South of France or Spain. The A77 offers an alternative highway to the A6 to the South, with a much lower traffic volume.

La Ferme de Planchevienne has 1 studio and 3 tastefully decorated, spacious rooms:
'Le Studio de Michel' is situated on the ground floor and comprises a master bed, a kitchenette with breakfast bar, a small lounge with a pellet stove and an adjacent bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. The studio has its own private terrace with a view on the park of the castle.
Room n° 2 is situated on the first floor. This room has a king-size bed and a separate bathroom with a shower and a toilet. This room has a view on the inner garden of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’.
Room n° 3 is situated on the first floor. The room has a large double bed, a desk and a separate spacious bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. This room has a view on the inner garden of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’.
Room n° 4 also is situated on the first floor. This room also has a king-size bed, adjacent to the bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet. This room also has a view on the inner garden of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’.
All rooms are tastefully decorated in contemporary black and white tones. They all offer a view of the greenery of the garden and the trees. In all bathrooms the bath– and bed linen is available and there is a hairdryer. Separate towels are provided for the swimming pool.

La Ferme de Planchevienne offers 2 completely new and stylishly furnished holiday cottages. These are really suitable for a charming family holiday.
Le Cottage 'GLYCINE'
This cottage is located on the first floor of the renovated side wing of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’.
This cottage has the appearance of a spacious and bright loft and you can access it from the beautiful inner garden with swimming pool, via a horizontal wooden outdoor staircase that leads to the large floating terrace with stylish garden furniture, which belongs exclusively to this cottage. This cottage can accommodate up to 4 people. In addition to the cosy living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, the cottage comprises 1 master bedroom and one other separate bedroom for 2 people, a toilet, a shower and a washbasin.
Le Cottage 'ROSIER'
This cottage is situated partly on the ground floor and partly on the first floor of the renovated side wing of ‘La Ferme de Planchevienne’.
This cottage has its own terrace that connects directly to the beautiful inner garden with swimming pool. This cottage can also accommodate up to 4 people. The cottage has a separate kitchen area on the ground floor which leads into a dining area, through which you access the cosy living room where the staircase to the upper floor is situated. On the upper floor you will find the master bedroom and, in a mezzanine, the separate bedroom for 2 people. The cottage has a toilet, shower and double washbasin.
If desired, both cottages can be connected through a dividing door. This allows both cottages to be rented together and thus offers the possibility of accommodating larger groups (total capacity up to 8 people).
